Assets Repository
This repository contains shared visual assets for all TheVault D&D repositories, including maps, character art, equipment illustrations, and other media.
Repository Structure
- maps/ - Campaign and location maps

- world-art/ - Environmental and setting artwork

Asset Guidelines
File Naming
- Use kebab-case for file names
- Include descriptive names
- Maintain version numbers for iterations
Formats
- Maps: PNG for final, source files (KRA, PSD) when available
- Character Art: PNG or JPG for portraits
- Equipment: PNG with transparent backgrounds preferred
- Tokens: PNG, standardized sizes (70x70px, 140x140px)

AI-Generated Content
Most artwork is AI-generated using various tools. AI-generated images are clearly documented.
Original Artwork
Any commissioned or original artwork will be:

- Documented in this README

Internal Use
All assets are available for use within TheVault organization repositories and related D&D content.
External Use
Asset usage outside TheVault organization must comply with:
- Draconis Code and Content License v1.2
- Individual artist credits (where applicable)
- AI-generation tool terms of service
