Bug
Keybindings behave differently across terminal emulators. In the VSCode integrated terminal, Alt+A does not work inside res-theme; in
wsl.exeit works fine. Suggests terminal capability/feature detection is not set up correctly per-terminal.Expected
Keybindings should work consistently, or the app should detect and adapt to the terminal's capabilities.
Found
2026-10-19. Working: wsl.exe. Broken: VSCode integrated terminal.
Update 2026-10-19 (limoni deep-dive)
Limoni's capability detection is actually solid — env guessing plus a live terminal handshake (XTVERSION, DECRQM), measurement > name > environment. The VSCode-vs-wsl Alt+A split is likely key parsing, not detection: whether the terminal answers the kitty keyboard protocol, exposed as
CapabilityProfile.KittyKeyboard. Residual can log that field per terminal to confirm before assuming a detection bug.
